We Are Professional Movers Serving the Chicagoland Area
J. Bradtke Antique Movers was founded in 1978 by John Bradtke. He had one truck to make deliveries for antique stores alongside his brother, Joe.
Moving antiques and valuable furniture is different in a lot of ways from moving other items. You must appreciate what you are moving and not just consider it as a piece of furniture. This is what separates us from other movers. We have expertise in moving these items and understand the customer’s concern about moving their valuable pieces.
We can disassemble armoires that require special attention since some are held together with wooden pins which require certain tools. Other items might need special packing or crating in order to move properly; we are also proficient in those areas.
Today, our company is headed by Joe Bradtke who took over the company in 1985. Our professional staff is fully trained and works full time for the company. We do not hire temporary help or day helpers. It is still a small, family owned business that concentrates on serving customers to their utmost satisfaction.
From the moment a customer calls to inquire about a move, to the completion of the move, our staff is there to provide accurate, detailed, and efficient information and services.
